In the last month, the AHANA COVID-19 Outreach Team has engaged with many businesses in Spokane County to provide safety information and resources to minimize the spread of COVID-19. We are reminding you to continue these efforts by staying home when sick, washing your hands often, not touching your face, wearing a cloth face covering, and maintaining a physical distance of at least six feet from others. Anyone who comes in close contact (within six feet for 15 minutes or more) with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 needs to self-quarantine for 14 days.
To ensure workers are washing their hands, employers must provide access to washing stations, either fixed or portable, with soap and running water. Hand sanitizer should be provided in addition to, not in lieu of, hand washing stations.
