The Small Business Administration Restaurant Revitalization Fund

The Small Business Administration (SBA) has recognized the restaurant industry as one of the hardest-hit sectors during the economic downturn brought on by Covid-19.   As a result, the American Rescue plan was signed by President Joe Biden to provide $28.6 billion for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF).  The RRF focuses on providing funds for restaurants and bars to meet payroll, purchase supplies, and what might be needed to meet covid-19 business restrictions.  The application and award process is streamlined for an unbureaucratic approach for this federal aid.

Under this announcement, details on application requirements, eligibility, and a program guide are now available in English at www.sba.gov/restaurants or in Spanish at www.sba.gov/restaurantes.
